Privacy policy

Who runs this site
This site is run by Thousand Oaks Carpet Cleaners, at 2015 Los Feliz Dr, Thousand Oaks, CA 91362. Disputes about this site are governed by California law.
How referrals work
Thousand Oaks Carpet Cleaners is an independent marketing and referral service, not a cleaning company. We do not clean carpets, upholstery, rugs or tile, or perform any work in your home. Quotes and cleaning are arranged through our affiliated partner, Maid VIP, a California domestic referral agency, and the cleaning is done by independent professionals who set their own prices and are responsible for their own work. We may receive compensation or referral fees from participating companies for connections made through this website.
When you send a request or call the number on this site, your request goes to our affiliated partner, Maid VIP, a California domestic referral agency, at your direction, and calls are routed to it. Maid VIP arranges the work through independent professionals; Thousand Oaks Carpet Cleaners does not price or perform it, and any agreement for the work is between you and Maid VIP or the professional it refers. Services fulfilled by our affiliated service partner, Maid VIP. Thousand Oaks Carpet Cleaners and Maid VIP have common owners.
What is collected
What you give: your name and phone number, and if you add them, your email and street address and the details of your request (the service, the size, the area, budget, timeline, whether you own the home, whether insurance is paying, and any notes). The request also records the page it was sent from and the site or campaign that led you here. A call gives the phone provider, and through it this site, your number, the time and length of the call, and the caller location linked to your number. The conversation itself is not recorded; any voicemail is kept as set out below.
Who sees it
Maid VIP, our affiliated partner, receives your request so it can contact you, price and arrange the job, and pass on what an independent professional needs to do the work. That is how the service works, and Maid VIP may pay this site for it. These service providers host the site and carry requests: Cloudflare (hosting and request storage), Twilio (call routing and voicemail), Zapier and Google (request emails), and Google Analytics (visit statistics, loaded only after you accept). Your information isn’t sold to anyone else.
Calls and voicemail
This site’s phone number does not record calls. Whoever answers for Maid VIP first hears a short message saying the call came through Thousand Oaks Carpet Cleaners. A voicemail left when nobody answers is deleted after 90 days.
Analytics, cookies and browser signals
Google Analytics counts visits, requests and phone taps, and only if you accept it in the notice on the page; until then it doesn’t load. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal, the site treats it as a no. Google says Google Analytics uses a visitor’s IP address to run its service, for example to work out a rough location, never associates the raw address with a user identifier, and discards it after use. There are no advertising cookies or ad pixels on the site.
Follow-up and confirming completed jobs
If your request included an email address, a single short email about 30 days later asks whether the cleaning happened; one click answers it, and you can unsubscribe. Records may be checked against Maid VIP’s invoices and the call records to confirm which jobs were done.
Seeing, changing or deleting your details
To see, correct or delete what you sent, call (805) 309-3740 or send a note through the contact form, and you’ll hear when it’s done. Requests are kept for as long as they are needed to deliver referrals and account for them, unless you ask for deletion sooner.
If this policy changes
Any new version will replace this one here, with the date it takes effect at the top.
