California American Water serves western Thousand Oaks and Newbury Park, by Calleguas Municipal Water District’s list, with surface water bought from Calleguas. Homes and floors in Dos Vientos
Dos Vientos is young for Thousand Oaks. The City Council approved it in April 1988; the old ranch barn came down in 1996, the Thousand Oaks Acorn reported, to make way for some 2,000 homes; and major building followed once the infrastructure was in place in 1998. It became the largest residential project ever built in Newbury Park.
In a newer house, the carpet may still be under its maker’s warranty.
